Here is an assignment for my digital illustration class. As it can be seen it is a character design. At the beginning be started with a concept, not chosen why us but by the person next to us according to what their likes. Mine was sort of fantasy warrior princess/girl. Once we got the concept we did some silhouettes for it and showed them to the class so that one could be chosen. Once a silhouette was selected then we went a step further and designed different variations of that silhouette which again one was chosen among. At the later stages came a rough sketch and then a more detailed character turnaround with detail shots and accessories design too. I think the most difficult part of this was when doing the turnaround, getting the back view of her to match the right pose but all in all it was an awesome assignment.
